Feature Car - A Water-Methanol Injected my08 STi (GRB)

We, BMS is pleased to announce that we have acquired a unit of the latest MY2008 STi.

This development car will be used extensively for testing and development purposes in the course of the next few months. Stay tune to this page.

BMS continues to expand, invest and R&D on the latest technology embedded on the new STi. At BMS, we learn you gain.

The car has done just 3000km. Went through an oil change after 1200km and has since decatted.

EcuTek again provided the ability for us to tune this beast. It is currently the only software that allows total programming of the CANBUS Subaru ECUs' found on the my08 cars.

Stock Boost for the STi is 1bar. It comes with Si-Drive. 3 modes for driver to switch for economy and power. EcuTek software has the ability to adjust the Si-Drive modes; E-Throttle response; Intake and Exhaust AVCS. The list is endless. Allowing the full control of the car to make more torque and power.

Downpipe decatted.

EcuTek tuned. "I" mode Stock 1bar with retarded e-throttle response => tuned to 0.6bar with better response e-throttle. Effectively it is a fuel economy mode. FC average 9-10km/L.

"Sports" mode => untouch.

"Sports Sharp" mode => Tuned to 1.2bar. E-Throttle adjusted. Intake/Exhaust AVCS adjusted to optimise full power potential from the stock vf48 turbo.

AgencyPower CAI was added sometime in Nov but i was really busy with my schedule that the car didn't make it to the dyno but i have no desire to shelf my progress on this car!

So here's more to share...

Not only the AgencyPower went into the car, i have added a CoolingMist Stage 2 VariCool Water-Methanol Injection. :) Sweet!

Look at the dyno chart. Seeing is believing.
